ANDOVER

I am Erica Johnson, and I am starting my 21th year in Education.  I was a teacher for 5 years, a learning coach for one year, and I have been a school counselor in Wichita Public Schools for 12 years.  It is exciting to me to be a part of the eCademy staff because I feel like the blended curriculum this school offers is such a great thing for so many students!  It has been fun going into the Middle and Elementary classrooms to do lessons that target some of the themes in which students have expressed interest, as well as the needs the teachers and parents see in the students.  Learning the role of a High School counselor has been exactly the kind of challenge I wanted at this point in my career.  

I am married to Eric, and we have 2 very active children who also attend Andover schools.  Jack is a Junior at AHS, and Devyn is a 8th grade student at AMS.
