I am Mark Templin and, as hard as it is for me to believe, this my thirty-eighth year in education. The last twenty-six of those years have been in the Andover District. I am married and have one son, Luke, that graduated from Andover Central High School in 2005.
I have worn many hats during my career. I have taught science and physical education from 6th grade through 12th. I also coached football, baseball, basketball, and wrestling. During the last seventeen years, I have worked in administration starting as the Athletic Director at Andover High School, ten years as Principal at Andover Central High School and the last 7 years as the Principal at eCademy.
Things have changed in education over thirty-eight years, but I don’t thing think anything has changed as much as the impact that technology has on the way students learn. I am very excited to be a part the Andover eCademy as we look for new ways to utilize technology to better serve our students.
We have put together a great staff, and all of us are working hard to make the Andover eCademy the very best option for virtual education. I am looking forward to a great year and the opportunity to work with each of you.
